Tax planning and succession for management and business angels

Samen met andere internationale sprekers zal Wouter Strypsteen een sessie verzorgen tijdens het Annual Tax Conference 2023 van AIJA in Noorwegen, dat dit jaar handelt rond Tax aspects of private equity and venture capital.

The overall topic for this tax conference will be taxation in the private equity and venture capital industry. The main issues will be addressed through three different focal points exploring the fiscal pitfalls and opportunities for different actors and drivers in the industry:

• Key management and business angels,
• M&A transactions and venture investments, and
• Tax efficient investment structures.

The sessions will seek to address the relevant tax aspects for the different types of taxpayers involved, ranging from private clients to larger multinational corporations (carried interest, withholding taxes, succession planning aspects and latest development such as Pillar II and the EU Unshell Directive).
