Evelien Vande Putte is a civilist and has built up in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in the field of (inter)national asset and succession planning, more specifically in the field of family property law (inheritance law, donations, wills, matrimonial property law), transfer and succession of family businesses and gift and inheritance tax.

Education

Evelien obtained a Master's degree in Law in 2009 and subsequently a Master's degree in Notarial Law in 2010 from Ghent University.

Evelien is a lawyer at the Brussels bar. She has been a member of the Cazimir team since 2010.

Practice areas

Evelien is an expert in wealth and succession planning (with a focus on family wealth law, real estate planning, transfer and succession of family businesses and inheritance and gift tax). With her thorough knowledge and years of experience, she advises clients (with special or complex family situations) during all phases of their lives.

Taking into account the wishes and concerns of clients, she and her tax specialist colleagues provide optimal and comprehensive tailor-made advice in civil and tax matters. Evelien is also responsible for the preparation of the deeds.

Publications and other professional activities

Evelien publishes on various aspects of asset and succession planning and also regularly provides internal seminars within Cazimir for the training of junior employees on current civil law topics.
